State-Funded Cancer Screening Programs
The Wyoming Colorectal Cancer Early Detection Program offers FREE colonoscopies to eligible Wyoming residents between the ages of 50 and 64. Colorectal cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths in Wyoming, but it is highly treatable if found early. The program is designed to increase access to colon cancer screening among residents who are low-income and/or have no insurance coverage or are under-insured. For application assistance, contact our office! Or view the application online at: https://ccedp.health.wyo.gov/.
The Wyoming Breast & Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program offers FREE breast and cervical exams to eligible Wyoming women. Regular screenings are key to cancer prevention. When cervical cancer is detected early, for example, it is almost always 100% curable. This program assists women who are low-income and un-insured to access annual pap smears, clinical breast exams and mammograms. For application assistance, contact our office!
